Biography

Born in 1946, from Ningbo in Zhejiang Province. Graduated from department of automation control in Tsinghua university in 1970 and worked for teaching in Tsinghua from then on. He got MS degree of department of computer science and technology in 1982 . He is now president of institute of high performance computing , managing director of the Chinese Computer Society . And he is also a professor and doctor director of institute of high performance computing .
Prof. Zheng's reseach interests focus on the architecture of High performance computer system , parallel / distributed processing , developing environment for parallel program and so on . He has been engaged in many important projects like National 863 , and made great progress in related fields
